I think I had a Burgundy game that was going pretty well before a patch wiped the save. Not sure how much was down to luck and how much to skill. Probably a few pages back in this thread.

In my current Granada game England has been rapidly expanding their colonial empire, despite their small size. They fought a brief war with Scotland and stole some colonies and land back on the home islands. France was having none of that and launched a massive intercontinental campaign to cut them down to size, even seizing land in Southern England!

Along with my faithful Dutch allies I took this opportunity to declare my own war for southern France. Quite easy when their troops are overseas and your navy rules the waves.
