This listing is for a pair of original Bendix aluminum or magnesium wheels from a Grumman F4F. I don’t know any other history beside that or if it’s possible, these wheels could have came off of another type of airplane or were just sold as surplus decades ago. These wheels were and are still mounted to a small utility trailer that was home built long ago. I am keeping the trailer and putting a modern leafspring axle on it as these were mounted directly to the frame with the spindles welded to steel plates. Depending on the buyers wishes, I will sell these with the spindles or without if they are not needed.. I will not remove the 14 inch radial tires that are mounted to them as I do not have the proper equipment to do that safely and I don’t have any interest in damaging these wheels..

Photos show these wheels condition accurately and they are sold as is.

I suspect that these wheels would be viable for use in a warplane restoration effort, but I am definitely not expert in that arena. Also, I apologize but I cannot send these overseas due to unknown reasons why used tires and wheels cannot be exported as I recently lost a pair of vintage American racing magnesium wheels when shipped and not knowing this rule.
