This is a tail rotor removed from a Sikorsky helicopter (year model not known). This blade or wing is an estate find, the gentleman there was using it as a display item in his shop. It appears to be in good condition, I don't see where it struck anything on the leading edge, I see no damage on the trailing edge, it appears straight and true, in the rite light you can see a few tiny dings in the wing sides.The black ID tag reads:Inspected date: Sept 1978Total time: 1437.41Part #: 6115-30001-K5 (the k5 is not real clear)Serial #: 61V 8115-8980There are also numbers stamped into the butt end of the mount:61V8115-8980S-6115-30001-2This blade measures 49" long total and 7-3/8" wideThis blade will make a nice display in an office, restaurant, hanger etc.This item will be packaged correctly for safe shipping.
