FK54 Standard is equipped triple ultra high efficiency induction heat exchangers mated to six (2 per radiator) small high speed high static pressure fans. The system draws in hot humid ambient air and instantly chills it, condensing the humidity onto the radiators.The FK54 Standard radiators are high quality full copper construction for the highest thermal transfer rate. These are not the common aluminum radiators.The air intake chamber is kept isolated from the ice water circulation chamber. This gives the FK Series the longest ice retention of any competitive model on the market. After the forced air induction stage, the pre chilled air is passed through another full copper radiator further chilling the air and condensing any more humidity off and blown out via dual 290 cfm turbofans. The result inside the cabin is voluminous cold dry air movement nearing 600cfm which is double the air flow in a healthy automotive A/C unit.
Unlike our competition, the FK54 Standard with it's numerous high static pressure induction fans and powerful turbofan blowers, it requires too much amperage to be simply powered by a cigarette lighter plug. This unit is Professional Grade and has real muscle requiring real power. That's why we use a 20aH LiFePO4 lithium power cell that is powerful enough to run the fans at full speed for more than a half dozen hours, but it is very lite weight.
Being that the FK54 Standard was designed by a pilot for pilots, you can expect features like a full featured wireless remote with on/off function and full turbofan speed control with a duty cycle of 0-100% in 1% increments. In other words, it doesn't have just Lo-Med-Hi speed settings.
For additional pilot convenience the FK54 features an integrated built in pump and 6ft hose to conveniently evacuate melted ice outside on the ground.
