Introduction
Flight sim entertainment is about recreating the feel of the subject in question. One of the best ways to do that is to put a realistic and precise controller in the hands of the simulation hobbyist. CH Products has a long-standing history of doing just that, and its latest offering, the Eclipse Yoke, certainly looks the part. The Eclipse Yoke is a more capable version of the Flight Sim Yoke, and has six axes and numerous buttons.
Many of the world’s aircraft utilize a yoke for control. While large transports common to Microsoft Flight Simulator come to mind (and are the primary focus of any flight sim yoke controller), combat simulations that include multi-engine bombers and even the famous P-38 Lightning fighter of WW II used the yoke control layout to guide their craft through the skies.
