Vintage 1950's Sperry F-3 Gyro Horizon, Vacuum operated Attitude Indicator. This unit appears to be in good condition and could be rebuilt for use but is of special collectors interest.It is the same type of instrument that was blamed for the cause of the Buddy Holly crash since the colors of the horizon are reversed compared to common Gyro horizons of the day.The sky above the horizon is dark and the lower half is light.
