Review: World in Conflict: First Impressions

Back To Page 3

World in Conflict from Sierra (and Massive Entertainment)

Single Player

Single player has a lot of story and cut scenes, all nicely done. The single player also brings you into the story easily, the first chapter I think I only had 6 to 8 units at a time to control, but still fast paced, and with a lot of other AI units battling near you. You have some guy name Bannon that is constantly screaming in your headset to do something or other faster, when this is over I’m going to find that guy and beat him down. As you progress in game you get more units and faster task. It’s a good story but you seem forced to play it more like a RTS run and gun then a tactical maneuver game.
