Multiplayer
Multiplayer is fantastic fun, especially if you play with a set of friends that like to play as a team. You join an open server and you’ll most likely have your butt handed to you by someone who’s been playing this 16 hours a day since release. (I see a lot of high ranking players already and it’s only been 3 days, I haven’t even made Private yet.)
Like I said, multiplayer is broken down into four roles and each player can play that role, so it forces teamwork, because if you’re an armor specialist, enemy choppers will eat you up, unless the support guy comes in with some anti-air. The game is fast and fun, but I wouldn’t say accurately tactical. Helicopters fly over the battlefield instead of using the terrain to pop up and engage. Tank battles are 100 to 200 virtual yards across, which have been a pet peeve of mine about RTS games for years. Still good fun, good teamwork, and a lot of explosions and color. Your stats are tracked and you’re promoted as you perform. The in game MP lobby is excellent with a friends list, chat rooms, and the ability to start and join clans. (Clan stats are tracked too.)
