The mountains of Taiwan in EE2 are coated with fir trees instead of the massive green “block” forests that dominate the area in EECH. The trees are important because they definitely add a sense of perspective to your height and velocity over the terrain.

Here is a view of an airfield in Taiwan. The airfields were a pretty big disappointment in EE2 and G2 missed the boat on the opportunity to be able to liven up one of the busiest areas of the whole campaign theater.
